Your info. Looked after.
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains what information Cultcha Vultcha ("we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and your rights. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
Cultcha Vultcha is a live entertainment discovery app based in the North West of England. We are the data controller for the information you give us on this website. You can contact us at hello@cultchavultcha.com.
What we collect
When you join the waiting list we collect what you choose to give us:
- Audiences: first name, email, town or postcode, the kinds of entertainment you're into and (optionally) your mobile number.
- Venues: venue name, contact name, email, phone (optional), town, postcode, venue type, the entertainment you host and a website or social link (optional).
- Artists: artist or stage name, contact name (optional), email, phone (optional), town, postcode, what you do, genre and a social or website link (optional).
Why we collect it
- To tell you when Cultcha Vultcha launches and how to get the app.
- To send you launch news that's relevant to you (for example, news about your area or the things you're into).
- To understand where demand is so we can plan our launch.
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email or emailing us.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it with the trusted services that help us run Cultcha Vultcha: our database provider (Supabase), our website host (Cloudflare) and our email providers. They only process it on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep waiting-list information until the app launches and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or you go on to create a Cultcha Vultcha account.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it. Just email hello@cultchavultcha.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
